At Woven, children are important to us! We want them to know they are loved by God, recognizing their inherent gifts and natural belonging in a faith community, and in the world.
On Sundays, children join their parents, family and friends in worship at 5 p.m. and then are invited to Sunday School. If your child feels most comfortable staying in worship with their family, a coloring and reading area is always set up for them to feel welcomed in the worship space. We offer nursery services (infant-3 years) and Sunday School for children ages 4 and up.
Woven Kids uses "Godly Play" curriculum, based on Montessori principles, helping children explore their faith through story and enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play. Sunday school at Woven is an exciting way for children to learn about the scriptures in an engaging way. Woven Kids teachers (Teacher Kelly and Teacher Elizabeth) are trained and certified, and a parent volunteer is involved each week.
